N.S.U. was a Scottish psychedelic blues-rock band active in the late 1960s.
They derived their name from the opening track of Cream's debut album, reflecting their musical influences.
In 1969, N.S.U. released their sole album, Turn On, Or Turn Me Down, through the short-lived Stable Records label. Recorded in February of that year, the album features a raw, unpolished production characterized by gritty blues-rock infused with psychedelic elements. The music showcases heavy guitar riffs, expressive vocals, and a blend of blues and acid rock influences. Despite its limited initial release of only 500 copies, the album has since become a sought-after collector's item, appreciated for its authentic representation of late '60s underground rock.
