It compiles tracks previously released on the 1954 10 inch LP Chet Baker Sextet along with previously unissued recordings. This well-rounded LP features the very popular trumpeter in his early days and is a perfect introduction to the music of the early Chet Baker. He is known for major innovations in cool jazz that led him to be nicknamed the Prince of Cool.
